RYAN HERMENS | The Sun Tony Black (right) and Tim Kreher, both of the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife, round up Canada geese on Monday at Noble Park in Paducah. Each year, the department bands the geese to gain information about their lifespans and migration patterns. Black, the department's regional coordinator, said 150-200 Canada geese were banded Monday. The geese were corraled in a pen before their gender was checked and a band placed around each bird's leg.
